The Robert Mazlo endowment fund for art and contemporary art jewellery in collaboration with the  Alice Art Foundation and the Arketip association present the second part of the exhibition #tarot, hosted by LA Joaillerie par Mazlo in Paris, from September 9th to December 31th,  2023.

#Tarot : such is the title in the form of a nose-thumbing chosen by the gallery LA joaillerie by Mazlo for this group exhibition. A way to encapsulate in a lapidary formula this lasting phenomenon of appropriation of a centuries old reservoir of images and symbols by artists but also more widely by popular culture, especially through social networks.

In the past, Dali, Niki de Saint Phalle, Brauner, Breton, Ernst, Masson have already drawn from the source of the Tarot to make this “I”, evoked by Italo Calvino in his Castle of Crossed Destinies, speak when he wrote: “… It seemed to us that with this card he wanted to say “I” and that he was preparing to tell us his story.” Still today, many painters, visual artists, designers and architects are following in this prestigious lineage.
